The hotel have an amazing indoor and outdoor garden both with fireplaces and so beautifully decorated. The dinner pods next to the river where so romantic and beautiful as well. One of my favourite hotels so far. Breakfast was so good as well

Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. The staff was too kind. Really enjoyable stay. We were made to feel really welcome and the room was super, with a comfy four poster bed and large separate bathroom. The room was really clean with lovely decor. We loved the small bar area downstairs with a roaring fire. Also had a three course dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. Food was more than a cut above normal pub fayre (think smaller, beautifully presented portions and very high quality ingredients)- for example I had guineau fowl. All the food was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. To cap it off, we were offered walking maps and walked to Chipping Camden and Dover's Hill direct from the Hotel - with the offer of being picked up if we got lost!

We were having an annual meet-up with a group of friends from around the country. As I'm the organiser, there's always a slight concern as to how the place will work out (we go a different area and venue each year). I needn't have worried - the whole experience was impeccable - from checking in, to the evening meal and breakfast the following day. The rooms were lovely, beautifully fitted out and very comfortable, and the staff were all great. Great value for money as well.

Thyme is located on a country estate in the Cotswolds, 26.1 miles from Oxford. Guests can enjoy breakfasts and suppers in the Tithe Barn. Absolutely loved everything!! The beautiful room called Loveage we stayed in was divine. The restaurants, the spa, the chill out lounge spaces through to the garden walks. All staff were exceptional, soo helpful always. We adored our stay here for 3 nights and are obsessed with Thyme!!
