We had a private sunset view room with a heated plunge pool. We loved the privacy and how clean the room was. I thought it was a perfect place to finish off our honeymoon and truly relax after traveling so much. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful at all hours and we really appreciated all the suggestions and help they gave us throughout our stay. The free breakfast was delicious as well.

The view is absolutely amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The staff is all incredible. They do everything possible to make you stay exceptional and to make sure that you enjoy every moment of your time in Santorini. Important to highlight that the breakfast that they offer every morning is incredibly generous. We were never able to finish all of the food that was given to us every morning. This place expensive is worth every penny.

The hotel was really incredible. Even having a lot of apartments, you can keep your privacy and the area was very calm and quiet. The apartment itself was huge with a lot of amenities and facilities to enjoy. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety of dishes. I also could enjoy the gym, which was nice and the SPA was very good too.

The property is so beautiful and in a perfect location for shopping and views. But the absolute best part was the service from the staff. Very accommodating and the went out of their way to arrange transportation and dinner reservations for us. We can’t wait to return.

We traveled to Oia in the end of April, which is just the beginning of their high season. The weather was cool, a bit breezy, and always nice and warm in the afternoons. The traffic was slowed at times because the streets are narrow, and there is not a lot of parking. Because of the steep cliff side dwellings, there was a lot of walking up/down steps which were uneven. Someone with physical difficulty would not easily navigate the steps. All the shop and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from anywhere in Oia is magnificent. Oia is a place on earth that is a “must see,” and now we can cross it off our bucket list.

Oia is a uniquely beautiful place.
Oia is a uniquely beautiful place. The views in all directions are stunning, particularly at sunset but any time really. The overall impression of white and blue buildings is magical. The local people were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay in Oia.

Our decision to disembark at Oia Santorini was extempore at the end of our 7 day Greek Island cruise. It was mid March and just perfect in terms of weather and crowd. I went out for morning walks and I had the entire strip for myself. The weather was in 60s and 70s. No rain except for the last day. It was interesting to see the whole town getting ready for Spring and Summer. They were white washing walls and getting their commercial spaces ready.
Very few places have impressed me with the esthetic beauty like this. The nature and the man-made structures compete for the attention and they co-exist. The beauty is stunning and it takes 48 hours to stop taking photographs everywhere you go.
We stayed in Oia for six days. It was a long 3 days weekend and for Ash Monday. Only on one of these 6 days, we saw some crowds at the Sunset point and it wasn't pleasant. Many restaurants were open. Restaurants on the main strip are expensive for eating out every day. You can explore the off beaten paths to find hidden gems that that charge you non-tourist rates.. You can also shop at the local grocery store and eat selectively at restaurants.
If you don't like crowds and waiting in the lines, I highly recommend visiting in March and November. I heard stories from locals that the Summer has been very crowded in the past few years. The cruise ships have made the matters worse.
Here are some recommendations.
Restaurants: Candouni - Must try for dining,
Cafe popular with locals. Piatsa Souvlaki. Excellent food.
Skiza cafe.- Pizza, Sandwiches, Ice cream.
Morning coffee and snacks. : Passaris bakery

Because we went slightly off season, the beginning of October, we enjoyed less tourists. I cannot imagine July/August heat and crowds. We did a sunset catamaran cruise, really recommend that, for a once in a lifetime day trip. Lots of great restaurants around and lots of scams so be careful. Cabs are expensive, so ask up front. Buses take forever and minibuses drop you off any old where......If you book a lovely hotel with transportation included you'll be fine. Ammoudi beach is a great sunset spot with yummy food......

Doesn't have much but the sunset is amazing.
Doesn't have much but the sunset is amazing. Not because we were in the off season it just that the place is simple. Not much to do. Maybe sunset cruise, island tour but that's it. The selling point of this location is the sunset
ideally located within easy walking distance from Oia but in a quite village, this is a great place to rest and chill while enjoying Santorini. the room was very clean, cleaned daily in the mornings, the breakfast offered all varieties of food and we often enjoyed it on our balcony. the hotel is small and well maintained, it gives you a private space in the touristically attractive location. the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help. the bed is big and comfortable, we slept well. waking up with the view of the sea was precious.
I could say that this hotel has the best location in Oia, perfect for beautiful pictures near to the blue domes, which you can see from your room. On top of that, they have another private spot where you can see the sunset. People get around the hotel location to take pictures, being a guest of the hotel gives you a great advantage! People working in the hotel are super nice and responsible, they book tours for you, schedule transportation to the airport, restaurants, etc. Definitely the place to stay if you are in Santorini.
My stay at Pearl of Caldera was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was served in the reception’s kitchen area and you can take it back to your room/patio. There were a wide variety of toasts, cakes, egg dishes, Greek yogurt and other options.
It rained one day I was there but I was still able to go for a swim in the pool, which has beautiful views of Santorini and the surrounding islands.
I would definitely recommend staying here!
Very pretty hotel with a more "cluster of homes" feel (much typical of what one would hope for in santorini). The location is very close to the popular neighbourhood of oia and easily reachable by bus. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The pool is a big bonus after a long day trekking around the different villages. The breakfast is wonderful with multiple options including eggs, bread, fruits, juices among other things and kept us going till the evening! definitely a great deal !
Hotel in the main centre of Oia with 3 entrances (all of them leading you to the most important city spots). Houses which are included in the complex are very traditional and give a real greek feeling. Swimming pool with an amazing view. Breakfast with a lot of options, also greek specialities. Sunset terrace allowed us to enjoy sun going down without all the crowds in the most popular sunset spots. I would definitely come back and will recommend this hotel to my friends planning trip to Santorini.
If you are looking for perfection including in all the small details, you have to book this hotel. The location is the best, with the greatest view, food is amazing, service is exceptional, rooms (we stayed at the windmill) are luxurious and beautiful. The manager of the hotel is so friendly and kind and making this whole experience amazing. Santorini is an amazing island but if you’d like to step it up- this is the hotel!!
before booking, I was a little worried since it was not a resort/hotel. once I landed, I was contacted by Mary. Mary is the host. Anything and everything I needed, Mary had covered. I didn’t know where to go eat, what excursions to book etc. and once I met with Mary, she secured everything I needed. wine tours, boat rides, dinner reservations and my helicopter transfer from Santorini to Mykonos. I would recommend to anyone.
Everything was perfect during our stay. Our room was great and we’ve seen one of the best sunsets ever by the private pool. The hotel gave us the feeling of being isolated, while being 5 minutes away from Oia’s main street at the same time. Yiannis and Paz are really kind hosts, always suggesting nice places to go and making sure we would have the best time in Santorini. I highly recommend Aplada Suites.
amazing staff and amenities. We were immediately upgraded to a private suite with a private infinity pool. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was excellent
The staff is always looking to help and please it’s clients. The hotel is one of a few that offers an elevator. The location is superb, literally a few steps away from all the shops and taverns/restaurants of Oia.
The hotel is roughly 20 mins by walk from the center of Oia. Nice clean rooms with a great sea view, staff is truly friendly and helpful, they can give you all the recommendations you need to plan your stay in Santorini. Breakfast is served directly in the room, good selection of food and drinks. Pool area is very nice and quiet, the parking lot is very big and easily accessible.
The breakfast is perfect. The service is perfect. All the staff are pretty nice and always smile. Elsa is superb =)
The room is clean, elegant, with lovely balcony and you may enjoy the sunshine sitting here. Definitely I recommend this hotel in Santorini and it is close to Oia main square, just take 5-8 minutes by walk. You may admire the stunning sunset.
Location and view from all angles is amazing, Eleni and Fay and everyone was so helpful and sweet. Delish breakfast. Our specific house was amazing and a huge with 4 separate outdoor areas. We moved to another 5 Star hotel the 2nd half of our Santorini stay which was also lovely but missed the charm and personable service of Aloia.
The most perfect stay in every way The location is just amazing , Beautifull hotel nested into the caldera hillside. Its very central and the volcanic views from the suite were outstanding .Best deal by far in Oia .Definitely we ll stay again here next time we ll be in santorini lovely boutique hotel
Santorini is a particular island. Not my favorite at all. Getting to the units wasn't a pleasant task but you can say the same to 95% of all the hotels in Oia.
OIA Memories staff was excellent, the room was ample and clean and prices were fair. The view from that side of the island is great.
The room with a private terrace and jacuzzi was perfect for a few days in Santorini. The host was very helpful, she booked us transfers to and from the hotel, boat tour, and restaurant with sunset view. It's very good value for money, close to Oia yet calm and relaxing.
Wonderful hotel. Excellent location. This is THE place to be in Oia Santorini. Breathtaking view.
Thank you so much to the most attentive, helpful and professional staff.
We loved everything in Canaves Oia Boutique hôtel and will definitely stay here again.
Everything is sooooo great!!! Cosmoia itself, the view from Cosmoia, the location, the staffs….
Would love to stay here again on my next visit to Santorini.
