The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was amazing and the breakfast excellent. I would have loved to stay longer and will be back for sure.

The property is a beautifully renovated old house with a splendid garden, perfectly located near the old town, with very welcoming common areas for a quiet evening or a lazy afternoon. The host is very communicative, providing all the necessary information (and beyond) about the place and surroundings.

The room was very cozy, and we had a nice view from the balcony. Also, it was easy to find a free of charge parking spot nearby. The best thing was that when we told to the manager (or the owner, probably) that we need to check out at 5 am due to the early flight, he prepared us a breakfast for the morning (sandwiches, yogurts and fruit) which was a nice surprise as we thought we’re going to miss the breakfast despite it’s included in the price. We’re very happy with this experience, it was definitely the right choice!

The location is great. It is just outside the historical old town - one street away. The streets directly outside are quiet so there's no problem with restaurant/bar noise which can be difficult if you're a light sleeper like me! The old building of the hotel is very attractive and the restaurant area is in a courtyard in the middle which is a lovely place to sit for breakfast. There is an underground carpark at the hotel but you do have to pay for it.

Josh was really reactive to my messages, and his wife Tatiana welcomed me with big smile and kindness. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom was private but outside of the room a little bit further in the corridor, it was not a real problem except if like me you have to pee at least once a night 😅 There is another room next door with bathroom integrated which is better if you travel alone, but if you travel in couple or with a friend, the separated toilets are a blessing 😂 The shower was great with hot water and good pressure, there were shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer. 👌 The studio is not big and not really made to cook even if there is a small kitchenette. But for breakfast there is an amazing bakery a little bit further in the street, and in front of it there is a little bar with only local people (I was kind of exotic amongst them 😜) where you can buy an espresso to go for 1€. The neighborhood is quiet so I had good sleep. It's 15 minutes walk to the city center old town, so don't forget your jacket when you leave the room cause evenings are cold in April as soon the sun is gone. It's 12 minutes walk to a bus stop but don't go there at the last minute cause it's not that easy to find with Google map and I almost miss my bus to Puerto de la Cruz. The old town is nice but two days are enough to fully enjoy it. Take care that some of small local shops are closed between 13.00-14.00 and 16.00-17.00. So, I definitely recommend Casa Lagunera, thank you Josh and Tatiana ! 💜
