We arrived late in the evening after dark, and were happy to be received by our host. We were impressed by the clean and well-organized accommodations and check-in process. We were happy that the host allowed for a late check-out. Apartment was comfortable. Was perfect for our short stay, easy come, easy go.

I stayed in Echterdingen because I needed an overnight room...
I stayed in Echterdingen because I needed an overnight room close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised to find how attractive the town was, given that it's right under the airport flightpath (and you aren't aware of it) and virtually a suburb of Stuttgart. It retains its small-town feel with some attractive streets, lots of cobbles and half-timbered buildings, and a redoubtable medieval church with a tower you can see for miles around. The shops appear to be quite good, the choice of restaurants is outstanding, the streets are clean and the people are friendly. As I left on Saturday morning the traditional street market was just being set up.

There should be more restaurants for both vegetarians and non vegetarians I went to a near by shop on a sunday evening where they were selling rolls etc,What I did not like was they were using the same gloves that they were picking the meat from the containers to wrap up the rolls. to non vegetarians as well This put me off

Had to book a different hotel for the night + 2taxis to get there and back to the airport for a 5.35am boarding.. Absolute disaster of a "hotel". I have tried to contact them through booking.com and direct email.. It's now a week later and I've had no response... Price was €73.60.. I ended up paying in total over €210.00 for a few hours in a hotel I did not want to be in.

Typically Moxy style with communal style areas downstairs which the kids enjoyed (table football/tennis, giant jenga, etc.). We only stayed the night before our flight early next morning, rooms were spacious and clean and beds comfortable. Great value for price. We took a walk into town and had a nice meal out, quite a few options around. Easy to park, check-in/out and a short drive to the airport.

All we wanted was a bed for the night. Having said that, the receptionist was friendly and patient even at 12.45am, and the studio was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was good, and we were able to check out late at 12.00 for our rebooked flight at 13.45. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
